Terms & Conditions For Houses

Once you have paid your deposit you are bound by the booking conditions below. If you do not accept or understand any of these conditions, it is your responsibility to tell us before you pay your deposit.

Accommodation

Accommodation arrangements are based on using existing bedding. Every effort is made to ensure that the description of facilities and services of properties is accurate, however, these are continually being changed, upgraded and on occasion taken out of service. Byron Style Accommodation cannot be held liable for omissions, errors or alterations to a property's facilities and services whether temporary or permanent.

Deposit

A deposit of 50% of total accommodation cost must be received at the time of making your booking. The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted, and by making the booking represents to Byron Style Accommodation that he/she is authorised to accept the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. We recommend you purchase comprehensive Travel Insurance at the time of booking.

Final Payment

Final payment of the entire holiday is due at least 30 days prior to travel. Security Deposit payments must be made with final payment and prior to accessing the property. All prices quoted include GST. If final payment is not received by the due date, Byron Style Accommodation reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice. If the number of people booked to share the property changes, we must be notified immediately of the revised number of people booked so a new rate can be confirmed. Confirmations and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the guest accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline or retain the reservation.

An admin fee of $100 applies to all cancellations.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to check-in will result in loss of total booking amount.

All prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change.

Security Deposits

A bond or Credit Card number and authorisation is held as security against any additional cleaning, removal of excess rubbish, damage or undue wear and tear. All Damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture or furnishings will be paid for by the tenant and must be reported to us immediately. Bonds must be cleared funds.  The loss of keys will attract a $50 replacement and call out cost. Bonds are refundable within approximately 7 working days after check out and all bonds are subject to clearance from the accommodation concerned. It is the responsibility of the tenant to leave the property clean and tidy, and excess rubbish dealt with appropriately. The condition of the property must be left as close as possible to the condition it was in when you began your stay.

Relationship

Byron Style Accommodation organise and arrange the accommodation pursuant to contractual arrangements it has with property managers and owners. Byron Style Accommodation does not occupy or have any control over any property and as such is not liable for any damage or loss, whether to person or property and howsoever arising, to any person who has booked accommodation through Byron Style Accommodation. Although bookings are managed by Byron Style Accommodation, the final decision as to the availability of the property for rental rests with the owners. Should owners withdraw their property from the rental pool, Byron Style Accommodation will make every effort to offer comparable accommodation at no extra cost to those whose bookings that are affected. If Byron Style Accommodation concludes that it is not able to offer comparable accommodation, those whose bookings have been affected will be entitled to a refund of any deposit paid.

Byron Style Accommodation both for itself and on the behalf of their employees or agents do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever or however the same may be caused and they do not warrant and are in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given in statement made by their principals in terms of travel arrangement. Byron Style Accommodation reserves the right to at any time and in its absolute discretion modify any accommodation or travel arrangements and to cancel the same without notice.

General rules applicable to accommodation.  All rubbish shall be wrapped, tied and placed where indicated. Bottles/boxes/glass etc placed in recycling bins where provided. All Rubbish must be removed from the property daily.

No excess noise from Radios, TVs, doors slamming, voices etc to be made at any time within the property or grounds and in particular in residential areas when returning home late. After 9.00pm no noise to be audible outside the property and, if necessary, doors & windows should be closed to ensure this. Neighborhood noise is a frequent cause of complaints to Council and the Police. If someone is disturbed by a particular noise incident (like a noisy party), they may contact the 'Holiday Letting Security Hotline' who may direct a person causing the noise to stop at any time of the day or night. Should Security be called to a property more than twice, those occupying the premises will be evicted without refund.

All doors and windows shall be left securely fastened when the premises are left unattended and the Management reserves the right to enter and fasten the same if necessary.

There are to be no visiting guests overnight. Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property overnight. Breaching this condition will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of your bond.

All Guests are required to keep, retain and leave the property in good order. Any damage or breakages are to be reported to Byron Style Accommodation immediately. Inspections of properties may be made with reasonable prior notification to the tenants.

For SECURITY reasons, Please DO NOT allow access to the property to ANY persons you CANNOT PERSONALLY identify.
